After Channel Two’s well-received debut album Artful Time Reduction in 2007 – an LP that received major foreign press, airplay on Gilles Peterson’s worldwide BBC radio show, numerous placements on compilations, film & television (Chris Rock’s I Think I Love My Wife / Fox Searchlight Films) and kudos through many international playlists (Quantic / Paris Djs / Philly’s Record Breakin’) – the ‘Two’ are back in ’12 with their latest LP, Beyond 2012 and the remixalbum.

A good record needs good remixes. Friends, networkers and great producers who reflect the music and come back with their artificial view on the music. We are proud to present a great selection of remixes out of the Deja-Tunes and Channel Two environment. Every track is a winner and has a unique style. Starting up with a ‘positive vibe’ Reggae version by The Bas Lexter Ensample, the remix-collection is being introduced very tasteful. The French producer Alan De Laniere gives us a strong string-work on a modern driven Downbeat remix. Savages from Budapest worked out a nice remix together with Unifairfly, they let us know how Channel Two can turn into a funky Hip Hop blend. If it comes to sweet, clubby & dubbed out beats Omegaman is Australiens first choice. We were happy to be covered with his delighting remix of the track ‘Lovley’. Reunited to remix Channel Two – the brilliant duo Fellmann & Louise have found together again to make ‘a Lovley’ remix version in a ‘Studio One’ alike Reggeasound with a modern shape.

Deep House, Dance and electrofied remix versions come from DPR MASS, reminding in good old French House music, followed up by Hamburgs Deep House artist riccicomoto, Berlin’s Helly Larson and Hamburg’s Marc ‘Dirty’ Deal. Further remixers are: Michael Sauer, 5000, Alan, De Laniere, Deja-Move, Mr. Yoshiaki and Aaron Bingle, who gave us their creative perspectives between Downbeat, Drum and Bass and Electro Pop ambiences. For all the lovers of good music, and friends of Channel Two this remix selection is a good choice to reduce their time in an artful way.
